Hello Internet World! My name is Yindra and now that I am an empty nester I finally have the time to do two of my favorite hobbies, writing & going to the beach. I love traveling; no matter what city, state, or country I visit, I always find my way to the nearest beach. So I figured why not blog about my passion?
I am a refugee who moved to America in the 80s on the Mariel boatlift If anyone remembers that time in history, I was one of the kids on one of the many boats that arrived in America for freedom to escape communism. When I lived in Cuba I remember always going to the beach and enjoying everything about it, from making sand castles, lying on the warm sand making shapes with the clouds, to submerging in salt water, it was all both therapeutical & tranquility for me even at a young age, that feeling never went away till this day when I think of a getaway of any sort, the beach is always my first choice.
Fun fact about me, I have a shell-collecting obsession :)
In this blog, you can look forward to me sharing all of my magical "going to the beach" experiences. I will rate everything about the beaches that I post about as well as, the conchology, local events, the views, the smells, the sunrises , the sunsets, sometimes even the moon shining upon the ocean waves at night, everything will be covered!
